In this article, we will see how to analyze a winning product. Precisely, how to analyze an ad promoting a product.
You have probably already seen the red-framed ad in the image above? Every year, the product featured in this ad proves to be a winner for many Dropshippers. It’s a multi-purpose snowflake-shaped tool. We will see how to use Dropispy to analyze an ad after selecting it.
Save the Ad in your Favorites
By clicking on the folder, it is possible to save the ad in your favorites, the folder will then appear purple. All saved ads are available in the folder part of the tool.
Facebook Redirection
The Facebook button under the ad redirects us to the Facebook ad. This redirection allows us to see the ad in context, to study the comments in detail, to see the posts on the Facebook page, etc.
Note: The study of the comments makes it possible, among other things, to know how the ad is perceived by its target.
Detail of the Ad
The detail button allows you to go to the details of the ad, i.e. to see the description, the real-time data, the evolution of the interactions over time, and the audience (country, age, gender).
After clicking on detail, we get several pieces of information, including different dates:
- 15.09.2020 is the date of creation of the ad on Facebook by the advertiser.
- 18.09.2020 is the first seen date of the ad, i.e. the date when Dropispy collected the ad on Facebook. In this example, 03 days after its creation date.
- 11.12.2020 is the last seen date of the ad, i.e. the date when Dropispy last saw this ad in the Facebook News Feed.
Then, by scrolling down to the details page we get real-time data on the evolution of the number of interactions the ad has collected over time:
We also obtain the social-demographic data of the people targeted by this ad:
At the bottom of the detail page are listed all the ads that the « Googstage » store has created. In this way, by browsing the pagination we can find other products with high potential quickly :
Finally, by clicking on “Landing domain” we get more information about the store that sells our target product, e.g. its Alexa Rank, its commitment, its visitors, its active advertising, etc.
We have just studied how to analyze a winning product, in the next article, we will see in detail all the information that Dropispy has about a store and that allows its analysis.
